The staff was great and helped with whatever we needed.
While the location is prime, be prepared for a challenging stairway to reach the hotel. The noise level at night could be bothersome, especially if you're sensitive to sound. We were disappointed that there was no lobby area to gather or relax.

The hotel had indeed a magnificent location very close to train station. The staff were helpful and top-class, and the public parking was available. The breakfast was excellent quality with cheese and ham, as example, and had all you need.

The location was marvellous and amazing, walk from a train station, if you need it. It was a very lively area, a decent place for me.

I had a lovely stay with great breakfast served right on time and a cozy junior suite, although I would've appreciated a bit more space for luggage!

Everything was perfectly fine, ideal location really close to the centre of town as well as the main square in literally a minute, really good experience. The staff there were top-class and very amiable! The service was excellent throughout our stay.

We chose Abagnale primarily for its proximity to the town centre and the railway station. Our room was modern and the bathroom very well appointed. It was very quiet and very clean. The friendly staff gave top-quality service. I would definitely recommend Abagnale to anyone, and would certainly stay there on any future trip to Sorrento. Note: we spent our first night in a room in a nearby building. This room has a kitchenette, with crockery, cutlery, pots/pans and an electric kettle. It is large and is furnished in a more traditional manner. It overlooks the street, but the window shutters are effective at blocking noise - we slept to 10.00am. The Abagnale does not advertise it, so you need to specifically ask for it if you want it.
No. We liked everything and everybody.

Stylish hotel in the center of the city, functional rooms. High quality and marvellous breakfast by an unenthusiastic chef and amazing location.

We stayed in the Annex of the hotel, further up the street. Very cute & quaint, with little kitchenette. Full of character.

Had a blast with friends! Perfect location near the main square made everything easy. We did some kayaking and really enjoyed the nearby ferry to Positano. Rooms were modern and comfy, and the morning coffee was a great way to start our days. Definitely a good spot for a group getaway.
Just a heads up, there are a few stairs to navigate to reach the lobby. This wasn't an issue for us, but it could be a challenge for anyone with mobility concerns.

We were well located within Sorrento in a room in the hotel's annex - which is in fact a set of rooms converted in the back of a house within a compound about a half-mile from the hotel itself. The room was clean, small but well arranged, and quiet at night.
The air-conditioner was not up to the task of keeping our (small) room cool, which was perhaps only a problem because we visited during a heat wave. The shower might have benefitted from a soap dish above floor level. We selected the hotel in part due to proximity to the train station and we assumed "annex" meant adjacent - the long walk across town carrying luggage on a hot day was a bit of an unwelcome surprise.

Elina, one of the receptionists, was incredibly helpful. Anything we needed she was right there to help us. She even helped us translate a web page to book train tickets. Honestly, all of the receptionists were very helpful and always in a good mood. We weren't quite sure what to expect from the hotel since we actually stayed in one of the apartment suites, but it was a delightful surprise. It was very nice for my boyfriend and I, very private, and yet a minutes walk to the nearest clubs, shops, and restaurants.

great service in a lovely setting
The coffee was fabulous, and the breakfast staff was kind and very accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the good view from the garden while having my morning coffee. The location is ideal.
The triple room felt cramped, lacking sufficient space for luggage.

Location, modern, bright and clean and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Small things such as being unable to get BBC reception on the TV, no light over the bathroom sink, while the breakfast was adequate there could be a bit more variety, eg a choice of different cereals and we were not informed about the terrace on the roof as I found out about it from another guest on our last day there.
